Title: "Stained glass faces that launched a 1,000 ships"
Size: [H] 30 1/2" X [W] 24"
Description of the picture:
The frame is a chestnut brown color. Greek mythology says that the goddess Minerva at the wedding of Thetis, a beautiful sea nymph to King Peleus, a mighty - but a mortal- warrior. Entered into a beauty competition with Juno, the queen of the gods and Venus, the goddess of love, which was a foolish thing to do. Eris, the goddess of discord acted upon this foolish by rolling a single golden apple down the banquet table. On the apple was inscribed "To the Fairest." As we know, each was the fairest.
